Stylish in an all-black fit with a drink in hand, Josh Levi teased what appears to be his next single, “Hold On,” on social media Friday (Aug. 29). The clip opens with sped-up vocals before Levi’s voice cuts through over brooding drums: “You’re the Queen of the Damned, you got me like ‘damn’/ I want you to ride/ So do them, them other guys/ Nobody wants you to ride more than I do.”
The promising track has already earned a stamp of approval from Kehlani, who commented “yeah this the one” on Levi’s latest post.
“Hold On” follows “Don’t Go,” the Destiny’s Child–sampling lead single that launched the campaign for HYDRAULIC, Levi’s long-awaited full-length debut. "Don't Go" also landed on Pressed Music’s Best of 2025 (So Far) playlist, underscoring the rising stars hit-making potential. Originally slated for earlier this year, HYDRAULIC is now expected to arrive Oct. 3, 2025, via Issa Rae’s Raedio/Atlantic Records.
A preview of “Hold On” is available to stream now on SoundCloud.
