TAYLOR GRAY
A constellation of emotions lights up the genre-blending soul and electrifying pop of singer-songwriter Taylor Gray — a rising voice in R&B, set to appear at GLAAD’s 2025 Black Queer Creative Summit.
On “LET ME IN” — the lead single from his highly-anticipated EP, RESET — Taylor captures the uncertainty of a situationship with his signature introspection and vulnerability.
LISTEN TO “LET ME IN” HERE

Produced by DJ Chopp-A-Lot and engineered by longtime collaborator James Gyerman, “LET ME IN” wraps Taylor’s emotional honesty in a celestial soundscape, percolating with nostalgia and flirting with the future. Traces of Darkchild’s lush textures shimmer in synth-harps that orbit Gray’s vibrant vocals. The bass snaps around a magnetic melody, while Gray’s spiraling harmonies channel classic Y2K R&B with a modern flavor as he sings, “It’s been 7 months/Don’t know what you want with me/I’ve been trying to reach you/Guess you need your space…” Emotionally illuminating, the track sounds like the first breath exhaled after heartbreak.
RESET, Taylor’s upcoming EP, chronicles his personal and musical evolution — a sonic intervention that empowers through healing and encourages authenticity. Influenced by a diverse array of artists — from Craig David to Troye Sivan to Kendrick Lamar — RESET is Taylor’s most daring and emotionally-grounded project yet.
“When writing [“LET ME IN”], I recounted a really hurtful period in my life where I fell in love with someone who simply wasn’t capable of allowing themselves to love…. When I heard the original production…it took me right there with the chords, that feeling of tension. In the past, I sought to be seen through an image I constructed out of fantasy and my own desire to feel valuable. [On RESET] I’m just being me — and it’s evident in the music. It’s stronger, bolder.”
“LET ME IN” is available everywhere now.

ARTIST BIO
Taylor Gray was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana. A product of the TRL era, Taylor developed a fascination with the audiovisual and futuristic elements of music, as seen in the work of artists like Janet Jackson and Usher. This forward-thinking approach directly influenced Taylor’s genre-blending, emotionally intelligent sound.
In 2018, Taylor released his debut album TEO, gaining recognition as an R&B singer/songwriter to watch. Soon after, he was headlining shows for the globally recognized Sofar Sounds. In 2020, he moved to Los Angeles to begin work on his next chapter, performing for Breaking Sound and at Hard Rock Hollywood.
Taylor is also the curator behind Flavor Waves, a platform spotlighting rising R&B artists such as Leon Thomas, Ravyn Lenae, and Destin Conrad. Now, with RESET, Taylor Gray is carving space for emotional truth in modern R&B.
